Today we went to workshop to learn how to weld stuff. At first it was scary for me but as we went thru the safety hazards of welding, it was getting interesting.

Today we went to the workshop , start making a drill gauge. we had this small thin piece of metal , then we inked it to do some measuring stuff on it and then we start cutting it according to our plan and now am in process of drilling different size of drills in it. FIRST AID COURSE

14/8/12 wed Today we had the first aid course. I had a chance to learn about how to live healthy and ignore bad food , I learned about the diseases which we can get easily at this young age. We al went thru this booklet which contains all the details we need to know about health and safety.

DAY 3 Today we went to the workshop starting measuring the valves and then the pistons. we learned about the piston rings and the cool plugs and their purpose.At last we took out the crankshaft and was measuring the lobes.

DAY 2 Today we went to the workshop at morning , start continuing with the left over of yesterday. we took out the crankshaft and the valves and springs which took us a while. Mean while Rob was teaching us about some stuffs like micro meter , how does pistons works and how to take measurements. I think its getting interesting day by day because as Rob said that its not only about putting turbo in a car to go faster , its also about putting new pistons and valves to creating and handle the power from turbo , if we not makes changes inside the engine , it will effort engine badly. At last we came to class and Rob was giving us the recap of the stuff we did so far and was sharing some of his work experience of his life.

DAY 1 Today we learned about the FOUR STROKE ENGINE - INTAKE , COMPRESSION , SPARK - POWER , EXHAUST . Top Dead Centre / Bottom Dead Centre As a group We starting striping out the engine , we removed the head , camshaft , crankshaft , cambelt , pistons and all the screws.We did sum action today in the workshop besides sitting in the class. Now am in the progress of putting all the parts back and rebuilding the engine. Thanks to Rob , he helped alot and he is a great tutor.
